Power Nap Auto-Wake

Privacy Policy | Garmin Connect IQ App

No data leaves your watch

Overview

Power Nap Auto-Wake is a Garmin Connect IQ watchapp that detects when you fall asleep and wakes you after a configurable nap duration. This policy explains what sensor data the app accesses, how it is used, and what happens to it.

Short version: all data is processed on-device, in memory only. Nothing is stored permanently, and nothing is transmitted anywhere.

Data Collected

The app reads the following sensor data from your Garmin watch during an active nap session:

This data is held in memory for the duration of the nap session only. When the app exits, all sensor data is discarded.

Data Storage

The only value persisted between sessions is your chosen nap duration preference (e.g. 30 minutes). This is stored locally on the watch via Garmin's standard application properties mechanism. No health data is saved.

The app does not use Garmin's FitContributor API and does not write any records to Garmin Connect activity logs.

Data Sharing and Transmission

No data is transmitted outside the watch. The app does not connect to the internet, does not communicate with any server, and does not share data with third parties.

Third-Party Services

This app does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Children's Privacy

This app does not knowingly collect data from children. Because no data is stored or transmitted, there is no special risk to any age group.

Changes to This Policy

If the data practices described here ever change, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date below will reflect the revision.
